What’s Happening at Salt

A LITTLE LOCAL KNOWLEDGE

There’s plenty to fill a day without going far. Explore Acadia National Park, wander the shops and restaurants of downtown Bar Harbor, head out on the water, or stay close for an afternoon by the pool and an evening around the firepit.

Very close. The Hulls Cove entrance to Acadia National Park is just two miles away, making it easy to head out for a morning hike, bike ride, scenic drive, or whatever the day calls for.

Quite a bit. Swim in the heated outdoor pool, unwind in the hot tubs, grab a bite at Picnic, challenge someone to a game in the Clubhouse, or end the day around the firepit with s’mores.

Yes. Weekly live music and ghost stories give you even more reasons to stick around after a day of exploring. Stop by the front desk during your stay for the latest schedule.

Absolutely. Between pool time, games in the Clubhouse, treats from Picnic, and s’mores around the firepit, there are plenty of easy ways for families to spend time together without having to plan much at all.

Downtown Bar Harbor is less than 10 minutes away. Head into town for local shops, restaurants, waterfront views, museums, tours, and plenty of reasons to wander a little longer than planned.

Yes. Our heated outdoor pool is open from May through October, with two hot tubs nearby when you’re ready for a soak.
